T.H.S.P.A. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Dear Coach,

The T.H.S.P.A. is offering six $1,000.00 scholarships to be presented at the State Meet. If you have a senior powerlifter who desires to go to college, and has a financial need, please submit an application for that student to your Regional Director no later than the date of the regional meet.

CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:

1. No more than one application per school.

2. One student will be awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship from each region.

3. Student must be a senior.

4. Student must have a 3.0 GPA.

5. Student must have financial need.

6. Scholarships must be used within one year of being awarded.

7. Three letters of recommendation must be submitted on behalf of the student (100 words or less).

8. School must have T.H.S.P.A. dues paid by the first Monday in February.

9. The Regional Director must receive application no later than the date of the regional meet.
